Affordable Health Insurance for pregnant women called Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM) program. Provides low cost health insurance to pregnant women and their infants who are not eligible for no-cost Medi-Cal or Health Insurance.

The AIM Program has 5 criteria:
  1. You are pregnant and not more than 30 weeks pregnant at the time you apply for coverage.
  2. You have lived in California for at least 6 continuous months at the time you apply.
  3. Your total family income is over 200% but not more than 300% of the 1997 Federal Poverty Level. (ask for qualifying chart.)
  4. You do not have current Medicare card or qualify for no-cost Medi-Cal.
  5. You do not have insurance benefits that cover maternity or, you have a separate maternity-only deductible of more than $500.
